July 22, 200817 yr Hi all,I know invisible AI is cured by turning A/C ground shadows off, however, this option provides vital information when landing a plane, as you can judge your landing that way. Is there any other way to cure this problem rather than switch off shadows? Thanks, Regards, BoeingGuy ASUS P5E X38 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz on 1600 MHz FSB (400x8) | 4 GB DDR2-800 RAM | EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked @ 679/979 | 320 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 RPM HD
July 22, 200817 yr I have no problem seeing my AI aircraft with aircraft ground shadows turned on. I have AI traffic set at 40% and see all kinds of traffic at KSEA. I use the commercial My Traffic X AI program. Jim
July 22, 200817 yr Yes, you don't have problems with aircraft shadows as long as you use default scenery. However, many of the new FSX payware scenery packages use a ground texture technique the goes back to FS9 or before. As such, you won't see your AI aircraft if your location is a payware airport.fb
July 22, 200817 yr Author That explains it. I installed an Atlanta AFX file which seems to have messed it up. Thanks for the replies.
