May 20, 20251 yr If you encounter problems with your Thrustmaster TPR Rudder in MSFS, and therefore with AAO also, I post the solution here. It is no secret, but took me several hours to find the culprit and the final solution. The more places we have, the better people find it. ok, whats wrong: MSFS and/or AOO sees the Rudder not as slider, but as axis with a center position in the middle. Therefore it is not possible to brake as brakes center at 50% if you step off the brakes or they do act otherwise strangely. Solution: DO NOT use windows joystick calibration! If you have the problem, follow these steps prvided by Thrustmaster itself: FAQ_Joysticks_Remove_Win_Calibration_All.pdf These steps contain: 1) reset windows calibration for the TPR 2) restart computer(!) 3) install Thrustmaster driver (this is NOT T.A.R.G.E.T. software!) and calibration software from here: TPR Rudder – Thrustmaster - Package drivers - Hotas Warthog - 2018_TMHW_1 + Firmware - ADVANCED CALIBRATION SOFTWARE (V2.12) Install drivers and after that start calibration software and calibrate. You have to unplug your device after you have pressed apply. Do not plug it in again when calibration software is still running! Now, the Rudder pedals are calibrated correctly. Here are the settings for them in AxisAndOHs: Curve settings is to your likings, not needed.
