May 21, 20251 yr I have been trying to use the default ATC and AI with FS 2024 SU3, and I find it overall better than the last time I had tried to use both the ATC and the AI. OFC in terms of AI it can't compare with what FSLTL and other solutions offer, but for me the default models are more than enough... When I use the default airliners in FS 2024 or the Fenix, and want to submit a flightplan created with SimBrief to the native FS 2024 ATC the only way I can make it work is by importing the FPLN file previously stored somewhere in my disk using the FS 2024 EFB, and from there export it to the ATC... But what really is annoying is that although the EFB manages to import the flightplan with it's SIDs, route waypoints and airways, and even STARs and APPs, it always sets and forces a ridiculous cruise FL of something like FL123 and doesn't allow me to modify it in any way 😕 May way around has been to continue with the flight and as soon as I take off and am told to contact Center, ask for a cruise FL increase... But, do you guys know of any other "trick" to properly set the cruise FL in the EFB? Thx 🙏 Edited May 21, 20251 yr by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I would let them know this is happening. 10 minutes ago, jcomm said: But, do you guys know of any other "trick" to properly set the cruise FL in the EFB? Yes, just turn the cruise level off AUTO and type your desires cruise level in the input box.

May 21, 20251 yr Author @MattNischan, thanks for the prompt reply! Actually that FL value that is always set by default is also set if I manually define the flightplan, and cut&paste the route string from SimBrief, so it's not SimBrief related, but !!! I didn't notice there was a selection for AUTO Cruise FL !!! That must be it and will most probably solve my problem. Thank you !!! I haven't integrated it in FS 2024 yet. Another question please, since "you're here" 🙂 Any plans to make default AI compatible with external models such as those provided by FSLTL, that I use with either FSHUD or BATC ? It would be great if instead of the default 3d AI aircraft and liveries we could opt for alternative models while using the default FS 2024 Traffic routes/paths and ATC... Thx! May 21, 20251 yr Author @MattNischan, I used the integrated Navigraph flight planner, built the FPLN, and in the EFB disabled AUTO FL, but still the default FL121 that is put there, when I edit it and try to enter 360 which was the FL calculated for my GMMX - LPPT flight in the Fenix A320, reverted to FL 121 when I hit ENTER 😞 There is apparently no way I can define a cruise FL above 121, well which is not even a valid cruise FL ...
