If I view the scene from an external view, I am seeing a bright, HDR view (RTX HDR turned on).  However, from the cockpit view the scene is less bright.  Thinking this was a tinted cockpit screen, I scrolled the view to the left until I was outside and clear of the propellor disk - still less bright than an external view.

Can anyone comment on this?

cockpit view has a load of extra "internal" shadowing and lighting that gets turned off when you switch to external view
