Do I need to buy from the PMDG website first, for it to show in OC3?

 

If I have it for MSFS already, is there a way to get a discount, on buying it again?

Check the PMDG forum.  This is explained there.  If you're not a member, join it as that's where the straight scoop is.

But to answer your question, PMDG hasn't worked out the problems with Market Place buyers yet.  Those of us who bought the 777-300ER directly got the upgrade directly thru them via OC3.
