Hi Everyone,Last night I had to use system restore to roll back to the previous day's configuration. It went through the usual reboot, but then came up with a message that system restore had failed and no changes were made. I tried a several other restore points with the same result. The only change I made recently was the boot.ini modification to add the /3gb/userva=2560 to eliminate some OOM errors. Anyone had any similar problems with system restore?Dale

I have had that problem on multiple occasions. I am not sure of this, but if I remember correctly after rolling back successfully on one occasion, I was not able to reverse it and go back to my original either.Therefore, I don't always trust System Restore, though it can be a life saver at times. I certainly would not want to see it deleted, but it does not always work either.Good luck:RTH
