September 10, 200817 yr Captains,I had to do some cleaning in my HD and re-install Windows. All OK. FS9 remained in the HD and work just like before (even better...).With FSX, though, problem started...1) Could not install from scratch.2) Could not un-install (was not listed by Windows).3) All the directories and programs remained in the HD but, when attempting to run FSX a message said I should reinstall...4) After some sweat, I managed to re-install. It took about 45 minutes. But...5) Trying to run, a message appeared: "Your need MSXML4SP2"...What is this? Any friend that went through the same ordeal?Tks,BPilot
September 10, 200817 yr Check "Show Updates" in Control Panel Add/Remove Programs applet. Uninstall SP1 and SP2 first. (if installed). You must insert the installation disc to uninstall. It will detect your FSX program and ask to either remove or repair. That's what you should have done the first time. Try it now and see if it works. Good luck. Bob Prince
