September 12, 200817 yr Whenever I save a flight (even if I make it the default flight) in mid-air, the aircraft settings are lost when I load it again. For example, on a long flight, if I save the flight and then reload it the next day, the engines will be off, the route I loaded into the FMGC will be lost, and the aircraft starts flying back to the original airport! (I mostly fly Wilco Airbus Vol 2 a/c.)Can anyone tell me how to save a flight and retrieve all the aircraft settings? Without this functionality, I'm limited to very short flights! Thanks
September 12, 200817 yr Not sure I can help: when I save a flight, I press the ; and when the screen pops up, give the file a name and save it. Is that the same as you're doing? Using this method I'm able to save many flights at various points. Mostly I save airliner flights after I get vectors to the runway so I can have a "do-over" when I mess up the landing. If that's the same sequence you use and this doesn't help we need an expert. AMD 3800X, Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT, AS Rock X570 Phantom Gaming 4, 32mb 3600 ram

When you start it up again load the flight plan back into the FMC immeadiately after you unpause it, if you havent loaded a new flight plan for another aircraft it will load back in the same route and settings with the original crossing restrictions you had. I've tried pausing before saving, but when I start up the game again, it starts the flight with the engines off and when I load the flight plan, the plane starts flying back to the original airport, every single time.
