September 17, 200817 yr This kind of thing can be caused by add ons , or improperly installed repaints. Start double checking, uninstall and reinstall as necessary.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
September 18, 200817 yr That, and look at your graphics sliders. Most everything should be at least medium detail to see a reasonable amount of eye candy. Your texture sliders should be maxed out to see full texture detail...Jeff ShylukAssistant Managing EditorSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM
September 18, 200817 yr >But the cockpit graphics are fine. Are you referring to VC textures, or 2D panels? If it's the 2D panels that look OK, pay particular attention to the "Global texture resolution" slider. It should be set to "Very high".When I first ran FSX I couldn't believe how bad the plane textures looked until I discovered that setting.
