August 4, 2025Aug 4 How is the FPS in asobo 787? For example compared to PMDG 737, asobo 747 etc? Otherwise it should be fine plane? I would like to know as for 20euros it seems a good deal, but i'm mainthread limited and can run only PMDG, FBW, ATR, but for example inibuilds a320 I have too bad fps.
August 4, 2025Aug 4 For 2020, same level as the Asobo 747. Remember that AAU1 upgraded both the 787 and 748. The end result was not precisely study-level, but good enough. Ah, you said FPS? I'd say comparable with the 747, and better than PMDG. August 4, 2025Aug 4 The default Ini A320 in 2020 is pretty badly optimized so no surprise there (FBW always ran better for me for example). If you can run the FBW though yeah the WT 787/747's are just fine. The 787 used to be a complete FPS hog when the sim first released but I think it was SU5 or whichever one introduced better multi-threading it pretty much even fixed that. The SU that as long as you had a decent CPU made the glass cockpit rendering option of low/med/high not really have any noticeable impact on FPS any longer.
