MSFS 2024 won't go into VR - triple monitor system

Featured Replies

I recently bought a Quest 3 to have a look at flight sim VR.

On my gaming laptop it works fine, although too slow because I don't have an Ethernet connection to the router.

However on my desktop, which does have a wired connection, and is running triple monitors, clicking on "Switch to VR" does nothing, not even an error message.

Note that I am only running MSFS in single monitor mode for these tests.

Any ideas?

How do you connect your Quest 3 to the computer? Through Air Link, Cable or Virtual Desktop? You may try with another link method if one doesn’t work.

Win11 + Intel i5 [email protected] GHz (overclocked) + 64GB DDR4 RAM@3600MHz + 24GB GeForce RTX3090 + M.2 SSD 2TB + 1TB SSD + 2TB HDD + VelocityOne Flightstick + HOTAS Thrustmaster (throttle only) + Saitek ProFlight Rudder Pedals + Meta Quest 3

Not sure I can help.
I use the quest 3, I'm in the 2024 beta, I have the 4070 also.
Using a ten foot cable to USB.
I load into the sim
plug the cable in
start metaquest link app
put headset on and turn on the headset
in notifications click on allow connected devices to access files and wait
then ctrl/tab to go into VR.

Bought a dedicated router for Virtual Desktop and it's working fine now.  Still puzzled.  Thanks for the replies.
