August 16, 2025Aug 16 I have my simple joystick slider control my throttle. This is the default. But, with Button1 PLUS the joystick slider, I have both control the trim. The problem: Trimming works, but there is a problem. When I use the joystick slider with Button1 to control the trim, the joystick slider ALSO affects the throttle. So, the question is: How can I use the slider with Button1 for controlling the trim without it affecting the throttle also? In other words, how do I isolate the action of the slider when it is used with Button1?

Even if the throttle didn't change while you where actively setting the trim, seems to me that once you released Button1 the sim would sense the throttle slider is in a new position and adjust the throttle setting accordingly. Your throttle slider is an axis and therefore, unlike a button, is always active. For trim you could assign two buttons, one to Elevator Trim Down, and the other to Elevator Trim Up. As long as you hold down one of the buttons the trim will continue to adjust. Maybe someone else has a better idea. Al Edited August 16, 2025Aug 16 by ark
