God, what a brilliant plane that was. I actually had it in my hands. Not killing myself in it was next to impossible. 😉
But it was a technological marvel...

For X-Plane 12, one of the most promising Antonov An-2 models is the RedEyes Antonov AN-2, which has been adapted from earlier versions and discussed extensively in the XP12 Compatibility List. While originally built for XP10, users have successfully flown it in XP11 and XP12 with minor tweaks—like removing the Parnik-1-texture-bake-11_LIT file to ensure compatibility.

Another solid option is the Antonov An-2 by ksgy, available on the X-Plane.org Forum. Though designed for XP9/10, it's open-source and has been patched by the community for newer versions. It’s a great base if you’re comfortable with modding or want to customize it further.
