November 21, 200817 yr Any way to delete the GPWS sounds for an aircraft? I did the VC panel merge with the Project Airbus A319/320 and I have the annoying GPWS, which tends to go off no matter what attitude I'm at. There is a toggle key you can assign but I did that and it did not allow me to enable/disable the sounds in flight.Any help? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 21, 200817 yr That was my idea too but I can't find the lines in the aircraft.cfg | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 21, 200817 yr Author Here's a thread showing what to do. The GPWS lines are not in most aircraft.cfg files and can be added to the bottom of any aircraft. Then modify the line, for example make the following change:max_warning_height = -10000 <== the negative number disables it.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...42213&mode=fullPhill
November 22, 200817 yr Hmmmm, spose I'll have to do it that way...So if I change that first value to a negative number, it will essentially disable the entire GPWS system? And do I use square brackets for the GPWS section? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
