World Update 20: Streamed or Installed?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I need some help here.

I have installed World Update 20 Japan this morning. The process was a little confusing for me. Now Japan appears as "Installed" in My Library, but I have all the previous updates as "Streamed".

What's the difference? Have I downloaded by mistake all that scenery on my drive?

I have a very good and stable Internet connection, so I would prefer to have this World Update streamed too (by the way, I usually only fly around Europe and America, so...).

Did I install this package incorrectly or not? Can I have World Update 20 Japan just "Streamed"?

Thank you

Greetings

Hi, again,

I've asked Copilot, and it says "World Update 20 Japan" is installed and not streamed.

"As of now, there’s no official in-game option to convert an installed package back to streamed."

Sorry to bother you,

Regards

Hi, again,

The information of Copilot was not correct!

I uninstalled "World Update 20 Japan" to see what happened and then when I started again MSFS 2024 the Update is Streamed!

I'm puzzled!

Greetings

Copilot is an "AI companion", so I am not surprised at all.

Yes, I know.

I usually ask ChatGPT and the answers are ok, but today I tried Copilot (I really don't know why).

Greetings
