September 29, 2025Sep 29 hey all, using WAMA to save aircraft in the hangar. trying to figure out how wama determines if the wings are spread or not. regardless of the configuration i save it in, it will show either spread or folded. ive even gone through the save files in "Wherearemyaircraft_MSFS files". How does WAMA Determine this and how can i change it?

When it creates a parked aircraft, it will always show the default state of either the external 3D model or the default state of a parked AI aircraft (depends on what setting you use). Funny that. Wing fold seems kind of important, yet nobody has every questioned or requested it. I can look into it, but I cannot guarantee that there is a solution. The aircraft model might not react to the associated commands, either because it ignores them in that state or when the aircraft developer has implemented special logic (same problem as with the missing undercarriage on some models). September 29, 2025Sep 29 Commercial Member I ran a quick test with the F18 in FSX SE. When created as a parked aircraft it no longer reacts to the wing fold command. I guess that was the initial problem and why it hasn't been included in WAMA in the first place. When not even the default aircraft work, there is no point. LORBY-SI
