Before landing, I arm the spoilers to deploy automatically upon touchdown.   I'm too busy to check during the roll-out but as I pull off the active, if I go to a passenger window view, I'll see the flaps deployed but the spoilers are retracted.   Is this normal, per the real jet or am I doing something wrong and the spoilers never deployed in the first place? 

Are you sure you armed it?

They should be out until you command them to retract. They don't auto-retract like in the Boeings as you disengage the reversers and add power...
