Frequency problems

Featured Replies

The following happens:

The departure airport frequencies are working normally. During cruise, pilot2atc switches me to a frequency that has nothing to do with the destination. When I'm approaching the destination airport, I try to set the frequency of the destination airport, but it automatically switches back to the one I was on before (I assume this is normal since I have configured pilot2atc to automatically switch frequencies). So, I inform pilot2atc "frequency change authorization with tower." So, pilot2atc switches the frequency to a different airport, not the destination airport. The strange thing is that it gives me landing clearance, but it's not the destination airport.

I leave the actual frequencies and keep the log of the pilot2atc communications.

P2A doesn't know what airport you want tower frequency for when you just request "..frequency change to tower".  If you don't specify the airport, then it assumes you want it for the same airport as the current controller or if talking to a Center, the nearest airport.

The current version seems to have a bug when requesting a frequency for a specific airport, but that will be fixed in the next update.
