Problems with transponder in MSFS 2024 and certain planes

Featured Replies

Hallo,

I have (only with V3, V2 works flawlessly) the problem with some planes in MSFS 2024 (for example Inibuilds A340, iFly 737MAX) that I set the transponder mode normally in the plane, but the mode shown in Pilot2ATC only switches between Standby and Test. A change in Pilot2ATC directly is not possible as the value is being reverted instantly. I searched the forum but didn't find any relevant topics. Is this a known problem or may it be related to my setup? Thanks for a short feedback and best regards from Germany, Alexander

Hi Alexander.

It sounds like those aircraft are using the FSX/P3D standard FSUIPC offsets while MSFS has changed them up, so P2A detects the SIM version and makes changes to the transponder modes accordingly.  Please let me know if your standard MSFS aircraft seem to work correctly.

Thanks,

Dave
