November 8, 2025Nov 8 Just a quickie. I've re-installed my old P3Ds (v4 and v5) and they're coming along ok. I just went to setup my copy of PTA for v4 and it wants to connect to its website for activation (I've got a key) but the site no longer exists. Is there a known work round for this, does anyone know? Alternately, are there any other recommended tweaks/tools for amending the atmospherics and scenery colours? I'm running HDR so most of the nvidia or game bar filters don't appear or I'd probably use them. It's been a long time since I used P3D so I've pretty much forgotten about all this stuff, but I know from my own screenshot library that I had gotten it looking a lot better than it looks right now for me. Any suggestions gratefully received! November 8, 2025Nov 8 If the activation servers are down, there's not much you can do unless you know how to crack your own installer. There's two other options that improve the way the P3D looks that are shader modification programs. There's TOGA's EnvShade and EnvPlus which I recommend you buy them both (they're really cheap). and then there is RDSHADE by RDPRESETS. I personally recommend TOGA's EnvShade/EnvPlus software because it's much easier to use to make P3D look good. I find RDSHADE to be way to complicated to learn. Both can be found on Simmarket so you can choose for yourself.
