Pacific Northwest - revisited

Featured Replies

This flight is an all-time favourite, a trip in the stunning Pacific Northwest area.

We depart from First Air (W16). We cross the mountains and land at Darrington (1S2). We follow the usual route, reaching Concrete (3W5) before heading west. We arrive at Skagit (KBVS) and continue west to Anacortes (74S). We reach the San Juan Islands and land at Friday Harbor (KFHR) and Orcas I (KORS) before turning back to the mainland. We land at Bellingham (KBLI) and then at Point Roberts Airpark (1RL) before crossing the border with Canada. We track north and finish the flight at Squamish (CYSE).

The flight is 220 miles long with 8 landings. Any GA plane capable of operating from a 2400-foot runway is suitable. I will be in the BlackSquare normally aspirated Bonanza A36, please fly what you like.
