I had requested a bunch of new aircraft categories at flightsim.to - because many of the General Aviation (and obscure airliner) paints were "lost" in the Other category where no ever sees them after hour 1.

Originally the site only had Airbus, Boeing and Cessna LOL....  There's currently 25 active aircraft manufacturer's in the world.

All you have to do is click on Liveries, then All Categories, then the Quick Access Aircraft Manufacturers sidebar appears

I'm saying this now because I've noticed a large uptick in downloads for my 2024 paints, but also some of the 2020 stuff.  As Winter approaches in the Northern Hemisphere, we may spend more time flying at the PC.  Why not do it with a realistic livery? 🙂

There's also a bunch of other hyperlinks at the page where you downloaded your livery!  I think a lot of people miss this.

1)  Make sure you download the 2024 or 2020 file (lately I've seen many people seeing "white" liveries because they accidentally download the 2024 version for 2020 etc hehe)

2) "This addon is related to:" click on that to find more files associated with this addon

3) Subscribe just gives you a notification when that particular user uploads a new file

4) Clicking the heart icon to "like" it helps uploaders too...  it may seem stupid but we're literally spending THOUSANDS of hours for free on this paints.  Occasionally people donate for paints (and sometimes people commission a custom paint for a fee)

5) Clicking the the user's profile icon will display their own page where you can find a LOT more addons/liveries from them.  Perhaps you like TimHH's liveries?  Clearly you have good taste because since Tim and I started painting for MSFS, over 150k unique people have grabbed our paints!!!

6) COMMENT!  If you really like a paint (or even if you find something wrong), write a comment.  Don't just give 1 star because it's not working.  About 95% of the people who initially gave me 1 star experienced a classic case of PEBKAC lol

7) User Gallery - go fly with the addon and take pics and post them at the user gallery... other people can see them when they click through the thumbnails for the addon.  I love airport addons too, and I enjoy taking screenshots and posting for others to see new angles not captured in the thumbnails

8  ) Bottom right, Follow (don't unfollow TimHH haha) another way to know when TimHH or anyone else uploads a cool new mod/livery/addon...  the little mail icon to the right is a Direct Message (DM) if you need to contact the user.

Thank you! I will do that. Last time I left feedback about this issue they weren't too pleased.

I assume this includes only certified powered aircraft (so no LSAs or gliders, and obviously no experimentals). Is this civilian-only? Fixed-wing only?

Even so, I would have expected the number to be higher - but I guess there's a lot of consolidation that has been going on.

You're right... I think my list was the 25 majors
