Hello does anyone have the Xhanger Lear 35 , can anyone recommend a fmod , i noticed it didnt come with a decent sound, but for 20$ its nice

Yes had the Lear for quite awhile. Current version is good and some issues with the AP have been addressed. An update and mod is on the way to incorporate weather radar.

Actually a very nice model and I guess it is a Learjet, the pocket rocket. Textures are a little basic in places but that is the XHangar philosophy made plain - He makes the point that they are a little down market but then so is the price! So the functionality and systems are all good and realistic but just don't expect say Thranda quality in the texturing. I like the Lear so much I have actually done about 5-6 paints for it over time. 

Now as for sound yes the standard sound package was awful but then again I have this issue with all XHangar stuff and start to wonder if the developer is not a little deaf or hearing impaired, anyway over time I find FMOD's that are suitable and replace the all in all the XHangar aircraft I have - quite a few actually (Aztec, Skyvan, Learjet, Caribou). The most suitable replacement sounds are from the Laminar Default Citation X FMOD. There may be others but that is the only twin jet of the same class or similar I have. The Lear was not a noisy aeroplane inside so the Laminar Citation sounds are a reasonable match. Just copy it across and rename the relevant files to match the Lears acf and you good to go! Works for me, you may get a warning about some bit not being correct - ignore it does not do anything anyhow!

Thanks for the tip  , i also tried the Cirrus Vision , wasnt too bad but noticed it didnt have reverse thrust so yes the Citation X and it sounds great 

XMan just a mention to do a readup on the FGC or AP system in the Lear. It has a few quirks that take getting used to but is true to the original Lear it will take a little practice to get it working as it should that's all. Some stuff that XHangar did with the interior is a bit odd to my taste like strawberry cupcakes and champagne on the cabin tables still trying to find a way to get rid of it! No shortage of paints for it as it comes with over a dozen as standard anyway. For the price actually it is quite remarkable!
