December 19, 2025Dec 19 You submit a flight plan which includes a departure runway, when setting up RC, but when you listen to ATIS before asking for clearance, it might tell you the active runway is in the opposite direction from that referenced in your flight plan. Q: How, once I have asked for clearance, can I get RC to give taxi instructions to the active runway, as opposed to that which is referenced in my flight plan?

After contacting Ground they’ll give you taxi instructions to the original runway. Just select the option to select another runway. Easy peasy. Ray (Cheshire, England).
