December 24, 2025Dec 24 Commercial Member To trigger the copilot speech, you need to press the Speak button in the copilot area or set up the Copilot Speak button or hot key on the Copilot tab and press that. Is that Copilot Speak button the one you are calling "push to talk"? On the voices not working, apparently Microsoft has disabled free use of their online voices or their voice server is having an issue that prevents those voices from being used. To remove the online voices from Windows, you can use the "Install MS Natural Voices" button on the P2A Voices tab of Settings. After you press that button, press the button to open the tool. Then in the tool, press the "Uninstall" buttons that are not grayed out. That will remove the voices from Windows and when P2A refreshes, they will not be displayed. You can install seven free English local voices using the "Install MS SAPI Voices" button on the P2A Voices tab. That opens a window where you can select from all the Microsoft SAPI 5 Desktop voices and install them. You will need to reboot your PC in order for them to show up. Some of the French and Spanish voices are usable with accents and can add another 3 or so voices. Dave
December 24, 2025Dec 24 Author in regards to "Co pilot". I don't want the co pilot to auto respond to all etc, only when I need co pilot to respond, the rest I like to respond to. In the past I could assign a button non my joy stick (or keyboard) and push that button after a command and co pilot would respond. The co pilot will not respond to that assigned button, it only responds if I have the "co pilot always respond tab checked. which make him respond to every call Denis
December 25, 2025Dec 25 Commercial Member Make sure you have the copilot voice set to one of the local SAPI voices. If it's set to one of the online voices, it won't work. I tested the assigned joystick button (this is done on the Copilot tab of Settings) and it is working in the most current version. Dave
