July 30, 200718 yr I'm looking to get some recommendations for a reputable online pilot store that sells NACO paper charts and terminals. I mainly just need all the low enroute IFR charts. I also need EC-1 (Michigan) and the Alaska terminal booklet. Some store don't seem to have Alaska charts for some reason. Thanks :-) - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
July 30, 200718 yr Here are where you can buy some charts.http://www.sportys.com/acb/Category.cfm?&DID=19&CATID=92Here is the free NACO website that has all the terminal procedures and A/FD's in pdf fileshttp://www.naco.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=naco/online/d_tpp Chris Miller
July 30, 200718 yr Author Yeah, I want to buy them. I just got through buying all the terminal procedure booklets, but they didn't have EC-1 and I forgot about wanting Alaska. Plus, at about 100 dollars for all those procedure booklets, I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend more on all the low IFR enroute. I already have the high IFR charts and several terminals, so essentially I just need a few more things and my collection will be complete. I don't worry about the data not being exact with the simulators because I find most often it is the same or only a small change is noticed in any single FP, which I obtain from FlightAware.I tried getting them on digital media, but the more I thought about it, I hate printing them out. I've been using AirNav and a few other places for my prodecure plates, but it's a royal pain to have them all printed and keep track. I'm already fiding myself wanting to fly anywhere because I now have nearly all the procedures in a booklet, no downloads or printing required.I still have an order pending with MyAirplane, however, for some reason after 4 weeks they never came and it took 2 e-mails to get a response from someone about my order. Now they're at KOSH and apparently can't look into it until they get back to Ohio. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and the order was just the DVD of procedures and another DVD with all charts, but it's still 50 dollars. After my debacle with PGP Corp, I'm worried about a lot of online order now with places I'm unsure of. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
July 30, 200718 yr Both My Airplane and Sporty's are reliable places to go. The problem is this is the busiest week in aviation so almost everyone will be out of the office. I remember when I used to order items for the aviation store I worked at we had to get our orders in a month before oshkosh and sometimes it would take more then 3 months to get an order afterwards because the manufactures were wiped out of their supplies. July 31, 200718 yr Author What about AirNav, they have some great prices for their paper chart products? Anyone order from them? - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
July 31, 200718 yr It is interesting that you say the prices are great because I believe they are all supposed to be the same for the government printed papers. Chris Miller
July 31, 200718 yr Author Well, look at the prices at AirNav. It's a dollar or two cheaper in some cases. The complete set of Low Enroute IFR charts is about 15 dollars less IIRC. Yeah, 66 versus 50 dollars! - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
