Assign views accross multiple aircraft Part 2

Featured Replies

As the title suggests, I’m looking for a straightforward way to share or copy views across aircraft of the same type.
Example: PMDG B737-800 BW and PMDG B737-800 SSW.

Right now, having to recreate identical camera setups for each livery or variant is painful and unnecessarily time-consuming.

This question was actually asked back in 2017 (hence the Part 2), and while a workaround was suggested at the time, I can’t find a way to apply that solution in the current MSFS 2024 + ChasePlane environment.

So I’m revisiting the topic:

  • Is there currently a supported way to reuse or sync views across aircraft variants?

  • Or is this still a limitation of the platform?

Any clarification or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, in Chase Plane you can import views from similar aircraft or any other aircraft you have configured cameras for in Chase Plane.

On the INTERNAL column in Chase Plane, hover over the green + at the bottom and click import.
