How to Remove (Uninstall) rxpGTN-650-XPL Safely?

Featured Replies

Sorry, I had to switch to TDS, and it is fighting with rxpGTN-650-XPL. This does not show up in the APP library, so I cannot simply uninstall it from windows.

Can you please tell me which files I need to delete from X-Plane 12?

Secondarily, are you guys coming out with a Plugin for the Garmin G3x anytime soon?

Thank you!

Delete or move the RXP folder (not sure of the exact name) from your resources\plugins folder in XPlane.

I don't think RealityXP is a going concern any more--Jean-Luc hasn't been present on his support forum in well over 2 years.

Ugh, didn’t want to hear that … might explain why I haven’t heard anything in regards to RealityXP not installing in my Airfoillabs C172 NG … nothing from either Airfoillabs nor RealityXP support.

Oddly RealityXP are still selling products but I guess not supporting?

I have TDS, but unfortunately I don’t believe Airfoillabs support TDS only RealityXP.  Shame.

Well, sorry, not sure about 172 but the B350 does.

The TDS gauges have a legacy mode that will use a 3D frame made for the RXP...it's pretty close to a drop-in replacement.  It's worked in every plane I've tried it with (but not specifically the AFL C172).  Just make sure the RXP plugin is removed from XP, as the TDS and RXP gauges do not play nice together.

Uninstalled RealityXP and installed TDS for XP ... unfortunately still a no go for integration into Airfoillabs C172 NG analog.  Is Airfoillabs still around?  I logged a support ticket weeks ago and ZERO response of activity on my ticket.

Any sources/methods to get this integrated manually ... a few file edits?
