I have no pilot showing in the cockpit in external view with both addon and default aircraft in 2024. Is this a known issue or just me?

You can turn both pilots off in the HJET.

Are you using ChasePlane?

If so there is no pilot in external views if you fly with MSFS2024 native aircraft. (MSFS2020 ported aircraft still have the pilot in external views).

This is a listed limitation noted on the Parallel 42 web site along with a few other known limitations.

To the best of my knowledge this is due to a known MSFS issue so it may be down to Microsoft to fix.  If you need further information have a look on the parallel 42 site for Chaseplane under known limitations and it has a link to the issue.

Thanks for the reply. I do indeed have Chaseplane installed and just after I posted the thought did cross my mind that it may be the culprit. Thanks for confirming.

For default aircraft, it's possible that the model does not include a pilot in the external view. This can vary between different aircraft models. If you are using third-party add-ons, they might not be fully compatible with the latest version of the simulator. Ensure that all your add-ons are updated to their latest versions.

Sometimes, certain graphics settings can affect the visibility of cockpit elements. Try adjusting your graphics settings to see if it resolves the issue.
