Sorry should have read your post, but yes, downwards drooping inflight is definitely a bad thing! Of all the helicopters I've flown IRL (all the robbies, EC130, H125, B206, MD 500's and AW109) the MD 500 is a rock solid platform that is a pure joy to fly. The response through the cyclic is fantastic, as I'm sure the BO 105 would be too.

I'm sure your aware, but the BO 105's rotors are hingeless, meaning any 'coning' would be through the bending of the rotors themselves. The pictures above indicate the devs have tried to represent this. Helicopters with this type of rotor head (like the BK 117 etc) don't exhibit the pronounced coning you get with fully articulated / hinged systems. The closest I've flown to this IRL is the MD500 which has it's rotors attached to the drive shaft via straps and does not have flapping hinges. They have somewhat muted coning also as a result. Obviously they have proven themselves through years of operation, but geeze, the forces being exserted on those rotor blades is incredible. I'd be inspecting those rotors VERY carefully every preflight 🔍

Yes, he has form for treating customer feedback quite poorly... The thing I find janky with Cowan Sim heli's is the torque logic. It is quite unrealistic in the way it fluctuates with 'normal' collective input. The Taog machines (and Milviz) are much better in this regard.

I have no pilot showing in the cockpit in external view with both addon and default aircraft in 2024. Is this a known issue or just me?

I downloaded the new driver via the app (on DX11) and had dxgi CTD on loading. Reverted back to an old driver, loaded in and changed to DX12. Redownloaded the new driver and all was good. I use the filters so want to stay with GeForce, and I'd prefer to stay on DX11 but this combination for me doesn't seem possible at the moment.

Are you on DX12 Mike?

It's great if you're HDD space limited. My traffic base folder went from 45GB to 5GB (roughly).

I found this guys tutorial on down scaling FSLTL models very easy to follow. Includes links to the apps you need also.

Are you using Nvidia game overlay (filters etc)? When it happens to me using LS, the way I've found to return to the sim without Alt F4ing it is to hit Alt F3 (Nvidia filters). This opens the filters and returns the screen to normal. Not sure what causes the screen to freeze in the first place. Maybe overloaded GPU? Anyway, hope this helps you.

You need dx12 for the modded fG mod too. As mentioned, you can use Lossless Scaling with dx11.
