  1. Hi folks, fstl V1.9.0 just got released. It does not use FR24 live feed anymore instead using static/schedules based traffic input. Tried it in FS24. For some reason it does not show airborne traffic. It only shows the parked aircrafts. Parked ac quantity is set to off as well as airport traffic quantity.
  2. May be fstl guys can contact ads-exchange to get ads-b api free or for a fees lesser than fr24 and charge customers a small fees to get the live ads-b traffic. Hope ms/asobo gets some good love feed to inject into their Sim. With the current default live feed very little traffic is seen.
  3. Is Elie he or she? If need to reference him/her in the chat? 🫣 I care more about the 787 though. Lol
  4. Nice update! Thanks @iniBuilds
  5. At this point, it’s reasonable to conclude that the majestic Q400 is effectively a dead project. There have been no substantive updates from the developer for long time, and the continued lack of clarity is unhelpful to the community. Keeping the project in a perpetual “working on it” state is also problematic, as it discourages other developers from investing time and resources into creating a modern Q400/300 for current simulators. We’re now approaching six years with no real progress or communication. That level of silence is difficult to justify and, frankly, not very professional. If majestic software has no intention of moving forward, it would be better to say so clearly and allow others to step in. A high-quality Q400/300 from a developer like iniBuilds or Just Flight would be very welcome, and the market is clearly there.
  6. I actually never even used FSLabs, lol so no, this isn’t some recycled talking point. Five years with no progress, no meaningful milestones, and the same recycled “we’re working on it” messages isn’t an update. A couple of vague screenshots and explanations about “struggles with MSFS” don’t prove anything except that nothing is close to release. And blaming the community for a developer going radio silent is just ridiculous. If a project is healthy, communication isn’t a threat it’s part of the process. Calling people out for pointing out the obvious doesn’t change the fact that after half a decade, there’s still nothing to show. If that’s not the definition of a dead project, it’s getting pretty close.
  7. The team having a full-time job isn’t an excuse for five years of essentially no to very little communication. Plenty of small teams in this hobby release regular updates, even if progress is slow. silence isn’t development it’s just silence. And no, it’s not on the community to “offer development work” to keep a product alive. It’s on the developer to communicate whether a project is progressing or stalled. You can call it “not dead” if you want, but with zero meaningful updates in half a decade, that’s a pretty optimistic interpretation. At some point, it’s fair for people to question the status of the project.
  8. I think you're reading far too much into this. Suggesting that I should “look into people’s family situations” or piece together scattered hints from the internet isn’t evidence it’s speculation. If Majestic software actually had meaningful progress to show, they could share it themselves. After five years of silence, a few scattered, basic renders, posts or background guesses don’t suddenly become “knowledge.” You’re free to believe the project is active, but don’t imply others lack awareness just because we’re not building theories out of fragments. Until the developers provide concrete updates, calling it a dead or stalled project is completely reasonable.
  9. Isn’t it more of an assumption that they’re still working on it, since they haven’t shared anything beyond a few basic renders? Agreed! knowledge trumps assumptions. But in this case WIP sounds more of an assumption than knowledge.
  10. Well! That's what they have been telling people it's WIP project since 2020 but in reality it sounds more like a RIP project.
  11. There’s still no update on the Q400, even though it’s been more than five years since MSFS was released. At this point, it really feels like a dead project, especially after so many repeated promises that never materialized.
  12. 380 in FS2024 uses too much ram/vram and GPU after the UPDATE. Using standard textures for 380.
