March 9, 20251 yr LS used to work fine and now in 2024 when I activate my whole screen goes black and locks up the PC. I can alt tab and see the apps running but cannot get back to them, any ideas? Chris Chiozza
March 9, 20251 yr What are your LS settings, driver settings and in sim graphics settings for DLSS, FG etc? Are you using anything else to lock FPS? Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
March 9, 20251 yr Author Let me check, no lock that I know of. TAA, tied both FG and Non. https://photos.app.goo.gl/DC71qUohSNo326t69 Chris Chiozza
March 9, 20251 yr I have the same problem! And the application freezes my screen too, I have to do ALT+TAB but sometimes, it completely blocks the image so I have to quit MSFS. And I have other applications where I have to switch, especially a vPilot and so yes it doesn't work at all.

It used to work just fine. Island simpilot has videos out there but I have tried all of them. Chris Chiozza
March 9, 20251 yr Are you guys on the latest Beta? Chris, Where you have scaling as LS1 turn it to off Try disabling the cursor scale and clip cursor Is it when you hit scale and then select the MSFS window that it happens? Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

Apparently the latest Nvidia Driver itself is having black screen issues https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/nvidia-driver-install-572-60-screens-go-black-and-dont-return/325439 Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
March 9, 20251 yr Author Ok let me try again and I will report back. Yea I thought the latest of the latest fixed the black screen. I never had the issue until I activate LS. Chris Chiozza
March 9, 20251 yr Author Well that stopped the black screen but it is still freezes. I use ALT s to toggle. I will do more testing. What about Sync mode? Chris Chiozza
March 9, 20251 yr I’m having the issue where the screen “freezes”. The dialogue box then opens asking me to quit the non-responsive program. When I say yes, the frozen screen disappears and MSFS is running just fine. im running adaptive in Lossless with the latest nvidia drivers. This just started happening. But when lossless runs, it’s amazing. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

Are you using Nvidia game overlay (filters etc)? When it happens to me using LS, the way I've found to return to the sim without Alt F4ing it is to hit Alt F3 (Nvidia filters). This opens the filters and returns the screen to normal. Not sure what causes the screen to freeze in the first place. Maybe overloaded GPU? Anyway, hope this helps you. Murray Dreyer
