In 2024 does anyone know if there is  way to use Chaplane and Tobii together? I try to toggle Tobii off using the mapped button but nothing happens?

Yes, you have to bind Toggle Head Tracking in Chase Plane itself. It's in Preferences-Camera Actions.

You can also retain the current camera position when Tobii is toggled off. 

Preferences - Camera Behaviours - Keep Position When HT Toggled.
