Installation texture sur ATR 72-500 Flight One

On D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight One Software, I have:

1 Flight One ATR 72-500 folder

1 Text-o-Matic folder

1 Ultimate Traffic 2 folder.

In the Text-o-Matic folder, I have 1 Aircraft Configurations folder

1 Data.F1ATR folder

1 Templates folder which only contains 2 BMP files for Finair (?).

In the Simobjects > Aircrafts > Flight One TR72-500 folder, I have several folders: Textures - Textures options, Textures Air Caraïbes, ASA, EC-KUL.

Furthermore, I have checked all the boxes as Charliaron requested. Thank you again for your kind help and patience.

The contents of your folders appear to be similar to mine but I notice that your Flight One Software folder is in a folder called Microsoft Games and does not appear to be in your main FSX folder.

In my setup the Flight One Software folder is within my main FSX folder (D:\FS Games\FSX\Flight One Software). I'm not sure if that is causing the problem but it might be worth moving your Flight One Software folder into your main FSX folder to see if that helps.

So I created an FSX folder in 😧 Program Files (x86) MS FSX which includes the Flight One Software folder.
I downloaded Text-o-Matic version 1.2 and under MS I have a new folder Flight One Software that appeared including 1 folder Text-o-matic including the application Text-o-matic plus 3 folders (Data-Media-TempBitmaps).
When I launch the Tex-o-matic app as an administrator, I get the following message:
"Cannot continue. There are no aircraft configurations present. Aircraft configurations are installed with your main air

In addition to those folders you  should also be an Aircraft Configurations folder in the Text-o-matic folder and that should contain a file called ATR_Exterior_32bit.bin and, as it is missing, I guess that is why you are getting the error message.

Did your original Flight One Software\Text-o-Matic folder contain an Aircraft Configuration folder?

In D:\Program Files (x86)\MG\FSX\Flight One Software, I do have an Aircraft configurations folder which contains an ATR_Exterior_32bit.bin file.

Could you clarify that that file is in D:\Program Files (x86)\MG\FSX\Flight One Software\Text-o-Matic folder?

The ATR_Exterior_32bits.bin file is indeed in the Aircraft Configurations folder itself in the Text-o-Matic folder

In addition to the Data.F1ATR folder which you mentioned earlier I also have a folder just named Data (which seems to contain files with lots of airline names) in my Tex-o-Matic folder - do you have that??

It does seem as if Text-o-Matic is unable to find your templates folder for some reason and I cannot see why that would happen as all your folders seem to be in the correct places. I do wonder whether it is related in some way to your Text-o-Matic coming from a source other than Flight1 although I don't know why that should affect it.

As a last resort, have a look at the information in this link: [TEXT-O-MATIC] Problems and Solutions - ATR Discussion Forums (flight1.net). I'm not sure it will help you but it's worth checking that the file COMDLG32.OCX, which they refer to in that link, is in the correct folder.

Hello,
I simply don't have a Data folder in the Text-o-matic folder.

However, the COMDLG32.OCX file is located at D\Program Files (x86)\MG\FSX at the end of the list and is definitely not in the Flight One Software\Text-o-Matic folder.

Hi again,

Could I then suggest try copying the COMDLG32.OCX file into the relevant Windows folder as mentioned on that Flight1 link? In my setup it is in C:\Windows\ SysWOW64 as well as being in my main FSX folder.

With regard to the Data folder, I am not sure how important that is to the functioning of Text-o-Matic!

Hello, I copied the COMDLG.32.OCX file to C:\Windows\Sys64 as advised.

It's correctly located in FSX, but also in D:\Program Files (x86)\MG. Should I remove it?
At the moment, I'm still getting the message: "There are no aircraft configurations present. Aircraft configurations are installed with your main aircraft setup applications."

Hello, I'm not sure if that will solve the problem but you could try deactivating or removing it - just keep it safe and replace it again if it makes no difference.

Just to confirm, does the TempBitmaps folder contain 10 bmp files for the ATR? Does the Data folder contain 2 files (airline.bin and airlines.cfg)?

The TempBitmaps folder contains only two BMP files, ATR_72_500_Finnair.

I only have one DataF1.ATR folder, which contains one Aircraft.CFG file.

I don't have a simple Data folder.

Ahh, maybe that is the problem as my TempBitmaps folder seems to have generic bmps for the ATR72 and there are no airline specific bmps in there (they are all in the Templates folder). I have checked the bmps in the TempBitmaps folder and they are not the same as the bmps in the SimObjects\Airplanes\Flight One ATR 72-500\Texture folder.

Perhaps the simple data folder is a necessary requirement too.

If you would like to PM me with your email address, I might be able to help you with these.
