Issue :

My default aircraft is the 208b caravan ( stock)

 

I downloaded the Kodiak 100 from SIMWORKS – the package that comes wth both wheels and floats

I found it pulled consistently LEFT on every takeoff.
read some posts and the manual, and the aircraft is defaulted with a 50% rudder deflection.

However, adjusting that by trim never made any difference, so I asked for a refund on that aircraft.

Now, my 208B Grand Caravan is doing the same thing; however, when diving into this, I noticed something – when the A/C pulls SEVERELY LEFT , it straightens out on the GPS course to the next waypoint in the FLIGHT PLAN

 

So taking off ( Northward towards CYEG ) from CYYC, and destination CYVR ( to the west, so there is a 90 degree turn required once Airborne.

I have confirmed all AUTOPILOT controls are OFF, as it looks like it is doing a NAV requested turn, despite the AutoPilot being completely off. 

Can anyone else duplicate this behavior ?  I also saw a post to turn off all the assistance, but the auto RUDDER is the only thing able to address this at this point.

And this isn't torque or P-factor?  (All realistic left turning tendencies)

Are you sure there isn't a controls/binding issue?

Pretty sure - I double checked every control surface I could think of (at the keyboard hardware level) ; this let me identify if I was inadvertanly causing this .  ie hitting 'p' to release PARKING BREAK, and then double checking the same thing in the yoke settings - did not find any duplicates - I was also thinking maybe somehow the brakes got separated into LEFT and RIGHT releases.  Not the case/

I found it completely strange, that upon take off, the drastic LEFT TURN coincides exactly with the SINGLE MAGENTA COURSE indication MFD  - its a direct GPS track between START and DESTINATION.

I even tried loading a DEPARTURE airport ( CYEG) and no destination.  Aircraft still did the same thing to a certain degree.
I also just found a reference to a setting in the aircraft.cfg file :

Sept 25  2020 - Fix for plane pulling excessively to one side
If you have a hard time keeping your aircraft straight on the runway (or it pulls to the opposite side it's supposed to), adjust the value for engine_wash_on_roll in flight_model.cfg.
If its negative the plane will pull to the right, positive will pull to the left, and zero will make it go straight.

Sounds like old school like I used to do, and this would obviously not be a reflection of the air modeling, but it is frustrating when you can no longer take off, when you could before, for really no reason for the change.   Afterall, this is meant to be entertainment , not frustration.

I am guessing if I did a uninstall of MS2020. and then reboot, and reinstall, It would probably fix it....

So.  page 20 or so. of the manual   Section 5.3.4  reades: "  

5.3.4. How do I use the RNG (Range Zoom) function? .

● Select FMS1/FMS2 first. ● Press and hold the toggle button () while turning the rotary knob to zoom in/out.
