Not only new in the forum but just looking to enter the hobby as a whole. At least when it comes to flight sticks. I was sold on history very early on includeing aviation related topics.
I bought a Thrustmaster T. Flight Hotas X back in the days but it have like ~10 hours playtime in it max. 😄
I quickly realised that i can't aim with it in WT due to my massive skill issue and the strong centering of the stick, also the throttle "rudder" buttons just refused to work with MFS2020 and i couldn't bother with the joystick rudder.
So i quickly went back to mouse and keyboard.

Now looking to give it another try with some proper gear, tho cuz my condition... called "hungarian" i am subjected to absolute crazy VAT [27% hell yeah...] and being dirt poor for life. 😄 [Also we rly rly rly rly like to complain here...]
So after checking out the options everyone would find in like ~10 minutes i realised that i probably should go with used market in a niche hobby, which i know nothing about. 😄
If i must i can go with new ones but i would rather not if all things possible... i am lately kinda fond of this thing called ... eating and paying my bills [ok i am not particularly fond of the latter one]. 😄
Which is not a strong starting point lets be fair.

Not sure if it's not off-topic for the forum but my main would be Star Citizen, but with a good set i definetly want to try out MFS2024, give WT sim battles another go etc etc.

I've used the Hotas X without problems, but couldn't be bothered with the twisting rudder idea, so I got TM's cheapest TFRP rudder pedals and have been using them happily for five years. Really, rudder pedals are a must have.
