Seasonic Titanium 1600 Watt (for US) … or 2300 Watt for EU/Asia.

I have two Seasonic Titanium 1600 Watt.  One in my gaming rig (AMD 9950X3D + 5090) and one in my workstation.

In my workstation, the Seasonic 1600 Watt drives two 5090’s and an AMD Threadripper 9975WX CPU along with dual pumps and many fans.

The Seasonic 1600 Watt is the BEST PSU I’ve ever used so far (and I’ve used 100’s over the decades).  Don’t skimp on the PSU, it’s such a critical component when work loads vary rapidly and for sustained.

EDIT: and you get an incredible 12 year warranty on the Seasonic.

Thank you for the reply

I was concerned about getting the 1200w for my 9950x3d atm i have with my 5080

Soon to be 5090

So you guys think 1200w is not sufficient?

Thanks

Depends on how you want to define “sufficient” … especially when it comes to a 5090 and it’s 12VHPWR and ATX 3.1 spec.  The cabling and connectors that come with the Seasonic are excellent and very high quality.  Seasonic is a PSU only company, that’s all they do is make PSUs (since 1975).

5090 and AMD 9950X3D with RAM and MB and fans under loads will easily hit 800-900 Watts … not much or a margin to 1200Watt.

If you’re going with a 5090, you really should get the best PSU possible.
