March 13Mar 13 Anyone else have this problem? My friend in Australia doesn't. I uninstalled it from the library (it is default scenery) and reinstalled it. Same problem. Jack Sawyer
March 15Mar 15 Hi Jack: Coincidentally, I visited the RW Meigs Field of today…🙂…just earlier this week, to show around, a couple of guests from Florida. And, no, I have not seen the anomaly in your screenshot, in my MSFS2024/Xbox (post SU4, at least). I will take a look there again.

My friend whom I helped in Australia doesn’t have this issue but I do. This is the default Asobo Meigs. The RW one today is now just a park? Didn’t they destroy it? Jack Sawyer

And, yes, it was destroyed in 2003, March, just a few years after I relocated to Chicago. I made a reference to it in my last (Chicago->Orlando) A321 post here… Cheers…!

If you look on-line for post-destruction images, you will see six large X-shaped trenches carved into the main (18/36) runway, seen in its original form in my below image. I took a quick screenshot of KCGX today, with default MSFS2024 scenery (PG Off). I don't see your anomaly at least from a bit of height. Could be what you've shown due to distorted vegetation and trees around the edges...not sure...?

You’re now the second one without it. Jack Sawyer
March 16Mar 16 Author I figured it out. It was Orbx’s downtown Chicago that caused it. Disabling it prevents that hideous look. Jack Sawyer

Due to some reason, I thought it was your (default) MSFS2024 scenery. There have been indeed reports of conflicts when add-on sceneries are in the mix. My MSFS2024 scenery is mostly default, including some Gaya/Asobo ones, for which I’ve to enable streaming, in My Library.

I have well over one hundred airports I’ve bought as well as some SamScene ones. I like to fly to only airports I’ve bought. I do things differently than most simmers. And I have downloaded everything from Adobe, I don’t stream anything unless photogrammatry is considered streaming. Jack Sawyer
