March 21Mar 21 Hello Gang. Has anyone had success cranking on the 404? I can get it to crank but the engines don't fire up. March 21Mar 21 I just did it tonight, no problem at all without issues.... on the second try, because on the first try I had forgotten to set the magnetos 😄 The sequence is pretty much standard: - battery ON - mixture set - fuel tank selected appropriately (between the seats) - fuel pump on - primer set to correct side - magneto on - crank throttle a bit - starter on and engine will start. - generator on.
