April 26Apr 26 I am not using the beta, but recently I see some not correct model matching that makes me wonder if it is something I can fix in my settings. I use both FSLTL AND AIG models. Like today what actually was an a321neo LR irl, was shown as a320ceo offensive initials not allowed in the sim. That is pretty far off. And also seen yesterday that 320neo is shown as 320ceo in the sim. What could be the reason for this? That is with SAS and it seems like the ceo models are used way to much. It also seem like SAS e-jets is shown as 320, but not sure about that. And also, is it any way to disable AIG models only during cruise? The contrails from the AIG models looks so horrible to me, but FSLTL contrails looks great.
April 26Apr 26 Honestly I would say to remove or disable the FSLTL fleet as it doesn't add any models or liveries that aren't already in AIG and also because PSXT has better matching tied to AIG. I also think but not certain that the contrail effects for both use the default contrails from the sim. For your examples listed above with the NEO and CEO's, check your log and I would hazard a guess that where you see those errors, they are using FSLTL aircraft in the incorrect matching. You could also be seeing archived data in PSXT from previous weeks when those particular flights may have used the older CEO? April 26Apr 26 Author Thanks. I will try deleting FSLTL models then. Before when I only had FSLTL (also when I used FSLTL injector) the contrails were always nice. But after I got AIG the contrails are very thick and just look weird. Also they dont show far away in the distance like the other one does. Not sure what the cause is really though. Thanks for the tip about the log, will check it out. That flight with the 321neo is oslo to new york flight some not something they would use CEO for.
April 26Apr 26 I looked in my psxt log at ESSA just to see and from the psxt archive showed a few discrepancies in terms of NEO and CEO assignments. The issue I see is that the airport file for those erroneous flights is missing the aircraft reg or it just has a flight number and type being an A320 so it uses what is the closest match. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
