LatinVFR Madrid P3Dv5 - night lighting fix

Featured Replies

I recently purchased LatinVFR Madrid for P3Dv5 from SIm Market. The installer is named v1.1 and is the PBR Version. The install file comes with an accompanying fix file called LatinVFR_effectsFIX_p3d5.exe but when I run it, it doesn't install into the LEMD folders but fails to install into another LatinVFR airport folder which I do not have.

The night lighting is very poor and buggy and I think I need the fix file to make it work. In daylight everything is fine. I can't find a support email address or contact form on the LatinVFR website or forum and the forum doesn't offer support any more.

Can anyone help me either fix the dynamic lighting or contact LatinVFR please? I have asked Sim Market for an email address and am awaiting a response.

I've just explored this and found the same problem. I've done a bit of digging on the LatinVFR forum and their advice is that LatinVFR folder they refer to is only a placeholder. There are only two files required for the fix - spotlebl_s.fx and spotkbwi_2fx both of which should appear in your P3Dv5/effects folder. I have checked mine and the two files have appear there after running the auto-instal. I haven't checked personally yet, but other posts on the LatinVFR forum suggest this has fixed the night lighting.
