Back to Basics - XP12 redux

Spent a good deal of time fine tuning some very complex models in the sim. This is not one of them [img]img%5D

A basic single engine model of the Piper Commanche 250 by InDepth Simulations. This one was a challenge in the sim. Not because it was simple - like no autopilot, simple insturmentation. But it challenged one to get back to basics in the sim. One engine, big slab wing, plenty of power, high fidelity textures - but it demanded you fly it correctly as I said easy to become over involved in complex systems of the so called study level sim model - then you get something basic and it really makes you work for it in the sim. I WAS an eye openener how spoilt for choice one is and again how you can use the the sim to rediscover the basics of flight like a circuit then a cross country. For less than 20 bucks how is that for value?

I have this Comanche and will need to give it a re-install soon (after my current experiment I will post on separately) and give it a whirl.

I have the Comanche in both this and that other flight sim and must say it is about the nicest looking GA aircraft there is (and the Twin Comanche is lovely too).
