Hi, does anyone know where I can find some very detailed MD-11 blueprints, like the ones that were recently linked here to a Russian website for a DC-10?Yours truly,Tiberiu Brasov

Hi,I haven't seen such detailed MD-11 3-views like the DC-10 ones I posted. Sorry, can't help you there.Edit: On a second note... Try www.suurland.com. The 3-view can be found on: Blueprints (left side menu)-> Airliners Jets-> MD-11 :) Good luck!

That Russian guy didn't use blueprints at all (so he said) ,only material found from airliners.net and a bit imagination. I have used CAD drawings from boeing as i was making my model few months ago but i left the project ...here is a screen of it:

Toni, he meant the link I posted in another thread. :) The model looks good though!

I don't have a specific site but if you go to Boeing and look for a page called "aircraft characteristics for airport planning"This is a generic engineering term which will bring up 3 view drawing or table giving additional dimensions to aircraft other than the standard 3 view one.I'd imagine that the same is true for Airbus etc.Hope this helps.Paul H.
