PMDG 737-700 for MS2024 missing cockpit sounds

Featured Replies

I purchased and installed the PMDG 737-700 for MSFS 2024 today. For whatever reason, I am missing "some" audio in the cockpit. I can hear the external power generator running outside when connected, however none of the switches in the cockpit make sound, nor do the engines. Other planes in MSFS 2024 work just fine. All knobs/switches/engines make sounds as they should.

I have ran the file check within PMDG Operations Center 3, and it comes back with PMDG_737.PC.PCK file was changed in the "sound" folder. After rebooting and reloading the sim, there is still no sound when clicking switches in the cockpit, and still no engine sounds.

It has to be related to the PMDG aircraft as I have no audio issues with any of my other planes.

Any ideas??

The ones behind/below the captain's seat? Tried that. No change. Sounds like others are having similar issues as well.

I'm in the same case. Got the 800 today and no sound in the cockpit. No sound issue with my other addon A/C.

It's clearly an issue with the 737 because I don't have any issue with their 777s.

@billkirk8888 I was luckier than you mate. I had the same file error and repairing it solved the problem. Maybe you can relaunch repairing?

Works fine here.

You might want to open a support ticket with PMDG. The one or two times I have had a problem with one of their planes, they were able to help me sort it out quickly.

Good luck.
