When scrolling the map with my mouse, particularly over dense areas (lots of airports, waypoints, etc), very often the map freezes completely. I can no longer scroll and the windows mouse is just a little spinning circle. I have to force close the app and restart it. When I restart it it tells me the app didn't end correctly and produces an error report.

This has been happening to me more and more recently since I updated, whereas it never used to. Any idea what the issue is? Are other people having this issue? How can I attached the error report?

This can be a large aircraft trail. Try menu "Map" -> "Delete user aircraft trail". Maybe have a look at options page "Map Aircraft Trail" and reduce the number of points.

Airspaces are also very taxing.

Or reduce the detail level in menu "Map".

Or menu "View" -> "Reset map display settings" and as a last resort "Tools" -> "Reset all settings and restart". The latter one will reset everything back to default

I'd also exclude the LNM installation folder and at least the settings folder C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel from anti-virus scanning.
