Sunday at 03:13 PM3 days I'm running msfs2020 on 2 networked pc's using WideView2020. Both pc's have psxt v15.5.1 and one pc has RT App (Prof) set as the server in psxt parameteres.xml. PSXT on the RT App pc is set to RT App and psxt on the (client) pc is set to RT Direct. Both pc's have identical windows time and MSFS2020's are set to live time. Firewalls are off on both pc. Random is set off in both PSXT'sWhat I am seeing is good live and parked aircraft matching but the client leads the server aircraft positions by 4 to 10 seconds randomly. But occasionally it is the other way around with the server leading the client. Any thoughts Nico?ps Im running RT App v11.1.457 and I notice that RT seems quite buggy with lots of flickering and parts of the screen disappearing randomly. Sunday at 04:16 PM3 days Author I think I've answered my own question. Both psxt's should be usiung RT App mode but client psxt would not show traffic even though it was shown connected to the RT App. The only way to get traffic on the client was to run PSXT in RT Direct mode. I now have the client psxt in RT App mode and receiving data from the RT App by doing the classic delete RealTraffic.ini and restarting. I had to re configure RT App again on restart. It seems we have always had to use this fix right from the early days and not quitre sure after all this time that we have to keep doing this when RT App stops talking to psxt.
Monday at 05:22 AM2 days PLease pay attention to the manaul section 2.3Using more computers running MSFS+PSXT at the same time [RTApp only]If you want to run a setup with different computers each running MSFS, generating part of the Simulator screen, do the following: Install PSXT on all PCs. At one PC set “hidden parameters PSX_SERVER_HERE=True and on all the others set PSX_SERVER_HERE=False. Install the RealTraffic app at one PC, which one does not matter. Make sure each simulator has the same liveries and add-on airports. Important: In this setup you must switch Random off in all PSXT instances otherwise each PSXT may (and will) react (randomly) different in choosing a livery or choosing a static parked aircraft location.
