Sunday at 03:48 PM2 days Commercial Member Hello @ll,it has been discovered that some authors apparently ignored the rule that a script group name cannot contain a "-" ('minus' character).AAO 4.57 must enforce the rule now, to implement faster access to the scripts. Consequently, all scripts stop working where the group name contains a "-". This mostly affects the StreamDeck profiles, by at least one author (no, not Guenseli - he says that his scripts should be working fine).(Before you ask, yes, this rule has been in the manual since forever, on the second page of the chapter "Scripting")We are currently debating about releasing a 4.58, that will tolerate these scripts like the old versions did (at the cost of slightly lower performance). The jury is still out, since technically this is not a bug on our part. But it is very likely that the 4.58 will be available shortly. If you are using scripts with invalid group names, please wait for the 4.58 before you update. Sunday at 05:01 PM2 days I've just come across this issue with an ATR script group named ATR-72.Can the group be renamed and re-imported?

The app will take care of the rename across all assets. But if you are calling the scripts from an external device with its own configuration, like the StreamDeck, you would have to alter all the script calls in the external (StreamDeck) software too. Might be better to go back to the 4.56 in that case. Edited Sunday at 05:31 PM2 days by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
Sunday at 06:02 PM2 days All sorted. Just did a 'find and replace' in Notepad and changed '-' to '_' in the group tag. Then did the same with the Stream deck calls.
Monday at 07:24 PM1 day Author Commercial Member Version 4.58 is out now. Invalid script groups will be tolerated again - to a certain extent. I cannot guarantee that they will work everywhere, and they are running a tiny bit slower than scripts with correct group names. But you can no longer create groups with a "-" in their name, so that problem should subside over time. I still recommend that all authors update their script group names if they have a "-" in them at the moment. Edited Monday at 07:25 PM1 day by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
