AAO, Stream Deck Plus and FS2024

Featured Replies

Hi,
I have a stream deck plus of Elgato and would like to use with FS2024. So I have installed AAO demo software, the stream deck software with aao plugin and with some airplane profiles type 737 pmdg downloaded from flightsim.to. But don't work.
The AAO read the type of airplane used in FS2024, example with C172SP as PMDG 737. In AAO I have imported some scritps ( generic airplane and for PMDG 737 downloaded from flightsim.to). In AAO the two status leds in bottom right corner are green, the simconnect status led is green, AAO reads the event of the sim but no variable data. Nothing in assigned button. The port is 6080 instead of 43380. No data in stream deck. Instead with the PilotsDeck plugin the SD receive the data from FS2024.
Other issue, I don't know to check the SD connection with WebAPI of AAO even if I have applied the AAO Troubleshooting Guide, I don't find the "Connection Status" button in AAO plugin.
I don't understand where are my mistakes.

Could you help me, please, with suggestion, videos, documents?

Thank you very much

In all honesty, if it doesn't work for you right away, just leave it be. That is exactly why there is a demo version.

AAO uses Internet technology to talk to the plugin. On some computers the network security is so tight that troubleshooting this is not worth the effort, IMHO

Why did you change the port? Has it been changed both in the plugin and in AAO? Did you restart the Elgato software after changing the port?

The extra "Connection" action was no longer necessary. There is no situation where the SD plugin would have a partial connection. It either works or it doesn't - which should become apparent on the buttons straight away. I would recommend to use the Lorby Little Gauges profile to check.
