Need your Feedback on this Panel

Featured Replies

Fellow aviators,Out of a whim, I decided to create a panel for a B717 I fly as part of a VA. This is my first panel. I thought I was going to be done in a couple of hours, but it has taken quite a bit more due to the perfection bug. Would appreciate honest feedback from the pros in this forum. Note the engine display will change since the one shown is for a four jet plane.D Vega

I use a 717-200 quite extensively and tried several panels. I had one that looked pretty good except some basic functions were missing, like it ability to adjust the barometric altimeter pressure setting. Please add the Sim Icons somewhere that they are not too intrusive but available to open the various panels.

Thank you for the feedback. Most of the SimIcons are there on the glareshield just above the second display. I've also included FSNAV buttons to the left of the SimIcons. The knob to adjust the altimeter is in that area too. I've customized some gauges to make their bitmaps match with the photo used for the glareshield. I find I have to take some detours from reality to accomodate FS default autopilot. Again, thank you.Dave Vega

Dave,That's great! I do see the Sim Icons (unobtrusively situated! LOL!!). I would like to beta test if you care for me too! [email protected] .

...looks great, very good background bitmap!Just on the top of the panel, at the middle window, there's a little mistake(or maybe isn't finished...), cause this black thing looks a bit unrealistic!Which engine gauges will you take???Regards,Harry :-)
