Anyone know of a Diamond DA-42 currently available for FS9?

Abacus used to have this aircraft for FS9, but they're long gone. If you dig about a bit someone is likely to have shared it somewhere, hopefully with a serial number, but this isn't the place for sharing links to bootlegged software ;)

I did a lot of searching myself on the different Sim sites and found many re-paints for this "skinny" looking aircraft but sadly, no models. However, I hope you somehow have success.
